On of the biggest changes in recent years is the growing trend of people earning their living by home internet marketing. As more and more people learn the techniques of making their living from selling online, more and more people want to learn how they do it. After all, who doesn’t want to get up in the morning and walk down the hall to their office in their pajamas for another work day.

Home Internet marketing Is Work (The 2 Hour Day Myth)

Not everyone is willing to do the work that is required to be successful though. Many people hear about some marketing guru, or blogger saying that they only work about 2 hours per day, but the truth is, that this is a rare situation. The truth is that becoming successful at internet marketing from home requires quite a lot of work. The vast majority of that work is writing articles. At least in the beginning this is the case. As you be come more successful at internet marketing, it becomes possible to buy articles. This is referred to as “outsourcing.”

Outsourcing Content

Outsourcing can become expensive. Most people pay around $5 to $10 per article. This may not sound like much, but when you stop to consider that it can take hundreds of backlinking articles, you can see that this can quickly add up. Most new internet marketers begin by writing their own articles. While writing your own articles is a much less expensive way to get content, it does take hours.

Writing Articles

First there is research needed to be done so that you understand the subject that you are going to write about. After you have a collection of facts or points of interest, they need to be arranged into a logical sequence. It is necessary to list some keywords and work them smoothly and logically into the article. Keywords are the essence of internet marketing. Whether it’s successful home internet marketing or being done professionally for a company, internet marketing is nothing more than using keywords to help people find your website. Following sound SEO (search engine optimization) principles, internet marketers carefully craft articles that readers will find useful or helpful.

MFA No More

For a time it was possible to write articles that were packed with keywords but that didn’t read well. They were obviously written exclusively for search engines, and at the time the search engines were not sophisticated enough yet to distinguish these articles from truly helpful ones. These were referred to as MFA or Made For AdSense articles and sites. But the search engine algorithms are constantly being refined and updated and it is now possible to find that your site doesn’t show on the SERPs at all because of this practice. This is resulting in an improved internet where only valuable and helpful sites are rewarded with high rank.
