The future of internet marketing is always changing. This tool has been evolving ever since businesses caught on to the fact that marketing their product could not only be done on television or radio, but through the world wide web. How many pop up banners have you clicked on when surfing the internet? None is the answer simply because it is an outdated use of webvertising, also known as internet marketing.
The main factor for moving from the old media method is the cost. It is considerably cheaper to advertise through the world wide web, combining speed and ease while marketing to a global audience. The future of internet marketing is something that is always contemplated by companies, so that they can change their methods, use different tricks and make their product stand out to the public. Users in this day and age are impatient, and need to have something catch their eye immediately, or they will “walk away”. Already, the usual products that would involve traveling to your nearest shop or mall are now sold through the internet. Companies pushing their on-demand products to users through internet marketing are creating a whole new world of business; the future of internet marketing is here.
Several music downloading sites has been growing immensely in the past year, mainly because of their marketing schemes. Record labels, artists, and distributors can all export their product, while advertising it at the same time on a global scale. One of the largest auction sites on the internet has also grown because of its ease and marketing methods. Companies can use th site to buy, sell, and advertise their products all in one. This is the perfect marketing strategy for a business, because they can utilize all the features to their advantage at a low cost price. The future of internet marketing is upon us, and it can already be seen throughout the western world with companies like eBay and Apple obliterating the smaller people within that business. It will become an interactive service with companies having a personal relationship with their customers, which is what many of the larger companies have already tried to achieve.
CD sales have dropped dramatically due to music downloading sites, and the fact that the average joe can buy and download the songs straight from the internet and burn them to a CD without even have to leave the comfort of their own home. The same can be said for flea markets; with online auction sites selling all the small items that would usually be sold at a Sunday afternoon flea market, the number of stalls at these markets and the volume of customers has dramatically decreased. With this in mind, companies will eventually have to accept the future of internet marketing, and start competing with other companies in order to survive in the near future. The best feature of internet marketing is the large profit margin with a low cost budget, which can be seen all over the internet with companies playing the middle man between the customer and the product.
